The Hunt is On

Here is Amber lined up and all ready to go at the Annual La Cueva Ward Easter Egg hunt.  Bethany and Miranda were so mad that Easter wasn't during spring break this year.  They begged me to take them out of school so that they could participate.  Sadly, I did not think their teachers would be really keen on that idea - especially during NMSBA testing.  Luckily for them, Amber is a very generous sister and didn't open her eggs until the girls got home so that they could all share.
Amber was somewhat slow getting started (partly because she's had a pretty nasty cold since Sunday that has been keeping her down a bit) but she eventually got all 11 eggs.  We were supposed to bring a dozen but Aaron lost one earlier this week entertaining his sisters with egg hunts of his own planning.  Everyone should have a brother like Aaron!
Heading for the home stretch!
Mommy and Amber showing off the loot.  We love Easter!

WOW!! You are one fast blogger!! I am about a month behind and you have a post of what we did earlier today!! Very Impressive!! I do love the egg hunt. I didn't tell Rachel until after school so that she couldn't whine for days about missing it!!

How fun! And very organized that they have the kids find the same number of eggs that they bring. Good idea!

What do you mean she was sick? This can't be happening during Easter Egg Hunts. Doesn't she know about elbowing the runts out of the way?

Really sweet of her to wait to open the eggs, btw. She can come be in our family any day.

Always love the egg hunt! I'm about a year behind in blogging so Jill makes me look bad only being a month behind, but you make me seem pathetic! You are quick!
