Betsy's Big Party!

Sam and I went to Kansas City this weekend to attend his sister Betsy's surprise 40th birthday party. (She's the one in the middle with the pink shirt. She doesn't look a day past 25, does she?) We had a great time. The weather was perfect, Missouri was beautiful and we got to see a lot of our awesome family. Here is a picture of Sam and some of his siblings at the Far West monument yesterday. Thanks for all your hard work, Dennis and Sarah. We'll see you next month - this time with the the whole gang.

We're bringing the kids to the Great Wolf Lodge next month. It is a fabulous resort hotel with an indoor/outdoor water park, magic shows, mini-golf - you name it. Miranda found it in a Family Fun magazine and begged us to take her. Since there's one in Kansas City where her cousins are, we said yes. We went to check it out this weekend and took this picture to show miss Miranda.
