Amber is eight!

Amber is officially eight years old and everyone knows it's great to be eight!  Amber got to take two of her besties, Kate and Navy to Fuddruckers and Putt-Putt!  Boy, are these girls crazy!

Amber discovered that it might have been better to invite three people in order to make  an even number. Apparently Navy and Kate got along far too well for Amber's taste.  You can see that she was a big grump.

And of course the best part of turning eight is getting baptized.  Look at this cutie with her dad ready to take the big plunge.

And here she is in her satin finery.  She even let Aunt Emily put her hair in a bun in an unusual display of girliness.  We had a near emergency when her nose started bleeding as she walked out of the font.  She took so long getting ready because of this that Sam sent an emissary to make sure we hadn't skipped out on everybody. 

And here she is with her handsome brothers both of whom needed haircuts at the time. 

And here is Amber with her primary classmates Skye and Brynn.  Interestingly, almost everyone in Amber's class was baptized on the same day although two of them were baptized in other states.

 And now Amber gets to go to Activity Days! Yea!

Look at these fun girls.  Who wouldn't want to hang out with them twice a month!
