Where has the time gone?
Time has gotten away from me, I think. Last night, Chad was pitching to kids who are as tall as me. Actually, he's almost as tall as me. I can't believe it. There are no more tears or tantrums when he walks a batter, just a steely look of determination. I am so proud. Mrs. Jensen, our piano teacher, told me Tuesday that she'd like him to start learning "Maple Leaf Rag" - the hard version. I can't play that. When did my baby get so old? When did I stop having to wrestle him to the ground to get him to practice his piano? I'm going to go hold Amber while she'll still let me.

Yes, they grow up way too fast! I was at Target today and the man behind me had a radio flyer tricycle in a box he was buying. It made me feel very nostalgic - those were fun days. Last night at church, I was with the YM/YW and was surprised to note that most of the boys are taller than me - (especially the ones I've known for 8 plus years).
I am looking forward to hearing Chad play the Maple Leaf Rag. That's awesome!
Chad is an impressive kid...playing piano, baseball, basketball, in band and doing it all so well.
He's so tall! 5 more years until our boys are off to college....I can't think about that too much because I really can't believe it!
