Okay! So, here is Chad's official picture for the basketball wall at school. I'm not sure what's up with the pose, so don't ask. I volunteered to make the basketball wall and also to make 16 paper jerseys containing each player's name, number and a clip art basketball. These projects took my entire weekend - and I have to wonder, why do I do this? Why do I always volunteer to be the team mom? Am I crazy? I have no idea why I love my children's sports so much. I never liked sports growing up. I never played them and I rarely watched them. Now, I would never dream of missing a game (unless, of course, I have to choose between their games and that just makes me mad). I am hyper-competitive and the older my kids get, the more competitive I get. Sam says he would never have guessed when we were married that this would ever become one of his trials in married life. Alas! I'm pretty sure he still loves me despite what I have become.

Okay, that pose just makes him look so much more like Uncle Dwight!
I know. He's such a mini-Poppy. You ought to see their basketball pictures side by side.
This is so you know I am not blogstalking you. :) Your blog is much fancier than mine... perhaps YOU should be teaching me some stuff.
I guess we become what our children make us.... Getting involved, although more work, sure makes it more fun!
Oh Julie, I can totally see you being the intense sports mom! In a very good way. You are so fun. When are you going to move back to Seattle?
